Despite the initial plan being different, Salvia ended up bringing Nilkanpurija with him to search for berries. Or rather ended up followed by her, because while he couldn't quite hear her begging for him to let her go with him, he could certainly see her almost cling to his leg. Puru was a stubborn one, everyone knew that. Salvia didn't mind her company at all, though; having someone else to hang around with other than his mother or his handler was always a fun experience.
Salvia tried to stick close to the tiny dove what happened to be hard at times, but somehow he managed not to lose sight of her zooming through the grassy hills. They reached the edge of the small forest in no time and soon stumbled into a group of Diz trees. Salvia stopped by one and started collecting the berries, dropping them into the basket. He knew Puku was still in the area and let himself stop looking around for her every 10 seconds to focus on his task. Well, that was until he felt someone tugging on his leg again. The rook looked down to see nobody other than the small furball, dashing to the next Diz tree as soon as she got his attention. He watched her reach out as high as she possibly could in an attempt to get a grasp of the branch hanging off above her. And then something clicked. She was too short to even touch the lowest berries... but Salvia could help. He approached her and reached up, grabbing a bunch of branches and pulling them down, gently not to tear them all apart. He didn't want to damage the tree more than necessary. He could not hear it but he could very well see how happy Nilkanpurija was. He was still holding the branches in his mouth but he smiled down at her, picking the sweet and soft cubes. They both earned a treat for cooperation.
